Sarah reads to our MoonbeamsToday UCCC had 16 friendly visitors from Whitfield School's sophomore class.  The students came to the center as part of their Service Learning Day.  The first half of their day was spent in the classrooms, playing with the children.

After lunch, the classrooms quite down as our children nap and rest.  However, there was no rest for the Whitfield students.  This is when we really put them to work moving in fresh soil to prepare our garden for the next growing season.

We would really like to say a great big "THANK YOU!" to the students and their teacher, Ms. Foster, for all the work they did!  Volunteers help make UCCC the wonderful place it is.
