Thank You for Helping Our Fairy Tale Come True!

Year of the Teachers awards funded by:

Thanks to the Kemp Foundation, this is the first year LUME Institute has been able to formally recognize teachers who use their unique talents to focus on the emotional development of children during the crucial early years while committing to the practice of being a lifelong learner.

Proceeds from Fairy Tales Can Come True go directly to our robust Tuition Assistance Program, which makes it possible for UCCC to welcome children from all backgrounds. Thank you for joining us and giving the gift of high quality early childhood education to families who could not otherwise afford it.

A little history about the Fairy Tales Can Come True concert...
UCCC has developed a Tuition Assistance Program to help families afford high quality care. Through the Tuition Assistance Program, we support about 45% of our families with some form of tuition assistance. Full tuition ranges from roughly $12,000 to $17,000 per year per child, yet this number still does not cover our school's total cost of education and care. Our Tuition Assistance Program enables UCCC to fulfill our mission by providing socio-economic, cultural, and racial diversity which is critical for a rich learning community.
