Volunteers Supporting UCCC
We recently had a over 60 volunteers working at UCCC - 30 from Express Scripts and 30 from a group called ASHOKA, the South Asian student association at Washington University. They painted, cleaned and organized. UCCC depends on our volunteers. Our volunteers enable us to build community while reducing our expenses.
UCCC host over 500 volunteers per year. We recruit our volunteers through United Way, personal relationships and our families.
Our next volunteer tasks are painting bathrooms, winterizing our garden, making minor repairs, organizing and cleaning. Each classroom keeps a list of activities and task that need to be completed.
