Room: Horizons

Bio: I have been in early childhood education since 1999, and here at University City Children's Center since 2004. I started in the Shooting Stars room before "growing up" and becoming the Horizons teacher. I have my Masters of Arts in Education from Maryville University and am certified in the state of Missouri to teach children aged 6 weeks through 6th grade. I also graduated from the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute's Child Development Program. I love teaching the Horizons. They are so verbal and really question and discover the world around them.

I have two parents, Rick and Mary, and a brother named Mike. I enjoy traveling, dancing, reading, and spending time with my friends and family. I have also gotten into doing fix-up projects around my house in Valley Park.  

I look forward to meeting and working with each child who enters my classroom and will certainly reach for "New Horizons."
