Foster Grandparent Program 

Through the Foster Grandparent Program UCCC is fortunate to partner with Cardinal Ritter Senior Services. Grandparents work within our classrooms on a daily basis and provide support to our teachers and children. You will see the grandparents reading, eating lunch, and playing with the children. The federally funded program was established in 1965 to assist seniors in volunteering as friends and mentors with children. Each classroom is assigned a grandparent and they add to the joy of the classroom while providing an additional nurturing relationship.
