Have you met Grandpa Frank?
Frank Weeden, AKA "Grandpa Frank," is part of our Foster Grandparent Program partnership. If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting him, I would encourage you to do so. He is serving as a volunteer in the Superstar classroom. Frank reminds me of my late grandpa who had a great sense of humor and knew how to interact with everybody. He's funny and easy-going. When I walk into the Superstar classroom, I am overwhelmed by the sense of joy all are experiencing in their shared time together.
Initially, Grandpa Frank was placed at UCCC for the summer. However, we have been given the opportunity to have him at UCCC permanently. We are so fortunate for his presence.
