Deloitte - IMPACT DAY...Volunteering across the country

Thank you Deloitte for impacting UCCC...painting, gardening, cleaning, planting and harvesting. Alex and Sandy, the two team captains, had the teams highly organized and motivated.

One Deloitte volunteer was overheard saying, "I was here to volunteer with United Way four years ago and I can't believe the transformation in the Adventure Playground...you did all this with volunteers? Unbelievable!" The power of volunteer impact can be as big as we dream. The Deloitte Team had the right attitude...we can do it!

The completed tasks have a significant impact on the bottom line...painting the conference room would cost UCCC $800, but doing it with volunteers cost $0. 

Thanks and I hope UCCC is selected by Deloitte next year!
