Ellie completed her bike ride across America!

2,780 miles biked from South Carolina to San Diego! 

On August 4, Ellie completed her bike ride across America and ran into the Pacific Ocean with her fellow cyclists. What an AMAZING ACCOMPLISHMENT!

The Supernovas classroom has been following her adventure for six weeks and were so excited when they received postcards from her. Steve walked into the classroom last week with a picture and the kids exclaimed (after not seeing her for over a month), "Ellie!" Their tracking of her trip and remembering her over those six weeks is just remarkable for preschoolers. Over 3,000 pennies were raised from families at UCCC (one for every mile Ellie biked). The strength and knowledge that Ellie has shared with all of us will be treasured. We are so proud of you Ellie! Such courage shown..
