Over the past weeks the Superstars have been studying safety and the importance of listening. They had a good chance to practice what they have been learning earlier in the week when the center had its monthly fire drill. When you add that this is Fire Prevention Week, it makes perfect sense to top it all off with a visit from the University City Fire Department.

Not only have the kids been harvesting cucumbers and making pickles, but I was also shown that we have the "prettiest flower in the world" in our garden. If the squirrels will leave them alone, we should also have some tomatoes and peppers ripe and ready this coming week.
